Is it possible to backup the data for my DVB-S channels and then reinstall?
My bunch of channels is heavily edited from the original bundle found on the satellite, that's all I really need to preserve. I'm happy to start fresh if the channels can be recovered

Hard to say if it is running since you may not have downloaded this zip from the web settings.

You have a few remnants of the the Pluto TV extra. Remove extra-plutotv.xml and vod-pluto.xml for the data folder and reboot the server not just restart the service. It looks like the services is stopping and starting there might be a hidden service running.

Ah, sorry, This is the log from the web page:
https://kevwag.github.io/tv/logs-20240801-1925.zip
I've removed the pluto xml files as you suggested and also the plutotv folder from scripts folder.
I then rebooted the server, ctrl-f5 refreshed and still cant access the devices and channels pages.
This log is from AFTER I did all of that.

There is a 404 on that file. You can just attach the zip file to your post if you want.

That log is much better, but I really can't say why you there are problem now. If you use F12 then reload with Ctrl-F5 do you see any errors.

If you go to the EPG can you select All Channels? Also did you try Firefox or Chrome?

Yes, the guide page works and "All channels" is selected in the drop-down menu at the bottom (It's the only option available as I don't have any custom groups defined.
I've tried chrome and it doesn't work on that either.
Everything was fine before I messed about in the data folder, it worked across multiple browsers and remotely from my laptop. I'm almost certain I've done something stupid like deleting the wrong file or something.

Is there a file I can backup with my channel config data? If so I'll completely remove and reinstall NextPVR, I just don't want to have to re-scan the channels and edit them back as they are now (It took several days to get it all right!).

What you can try is

- stop the recording service
- rename C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\ to NPVR-data-old.
- run NPVRSetup to reinstall
- stop the recording service
- copy npvr.db3 and config.xml from NPVR-data-old to NPVR-data
- (optional) copy NPVR-data-old\media to NPVR-data\media
- restart the service.
