when you said:

- go to the web server and Settings->Channels and click the channel icon button.

Do you mean 'reload icon cache'? under advanced tools?

Edit: I assume you actually meant under Guide. There is a Download Channel Icons.

Nope, unfortunately, that didn't work.  It still has random series art as the channel icon.  so weird.

[Image: service?method=channel.icon&channel_id=7148]This is what it is now for CBS:

ok, now I am getting somewhere.

There are now 2 copies of KCBS icon in the folder. one png and one jpg. The PNG is correct, but the jpg is not.

Not sure if that helps, but maybe?

seems like all the png files are correct (just spot checked) and all the .jpg are incorrect. I can delete the .jpg files, but not sure if that will cause any other issues.

Right I just saw the same thing, sub will need to update things to handdle that xmltv file.

Deleting the jpgs will be fine.

Deleting the jpg files didn't work for some reason. Is there something I need to do to make it rescan the directory? I did a hard refresh and even rebooted, but the old jpg files are still being used, which is weird for sure since they no longer exist!!

Also, not knowing the 'players' here, do I need to email sub, or is this something he will see?

And lastly, is there a way to get Kodi to see the Series artwork?

EDIT: Weeeeiiiirrrrddddd....Firefox now shows the correct icons, but Brave does not, and nothing I do will get it to show the right ones (went to the developer options and deleted the storage for that site).

Are you looking on the web server or Kodi? On Kodi there is more to do.

I will track this with sub but he reads all the posts.

I was looking on the web server. Kodi was also wrong, but only the HDHomeRun items, so I manually fixed those for now.

What else can I do in Kodi for the Series cover art to show in the guide? (I really don't care about the Guide as much as I care about the widget that shows upcoming recordings).

I tried changing DefaultToFanartForKodi in the config file to true, but that didn't seem to affect the series cover art showing in Kodi.
