I did say software twice in my first post and told you software not the app in the second post. It's probably the 10/11 at the end of the line that is the confusing part and people assume other links are for older software

I found this page https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/downloads with "HDHomeRun Windows installer" which is clearer.

BDA should be NextPVR but the reality is in HDHR mode you won't need it. That would be for ATSC/QAM scans. You'd only really want that if you wanted to record multiple minor channels from the same major channel.

I decided to leave BDA set at "Default", since I didn't know if the selection would affect my Plex Live TV and you stated it wouldn't matter.

In the Guide section of NextPVR Settings page, the "EPG Sources" values are:
DVB/ATSC EPG
XMLTV [C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\hdhomerun.xml]

From your HDHRGuide:
"5. Map channels to NextPVR on Settings->Channels-Advanced Tools using the XMLTV filename that should be in the dropdown list."

This is how to actually do it:
Select "Advanced Tools" and then "Auto Map".

I used these settings.
Channel Type: HDHR
EPG Source: XMLTV [C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\hdhomerun.xml]
Map Stategy: Numbers and Identifiers

However, the EPG Source in the Guide page for each channel shows "DVB/ATSC EPG" and not "XMLTV [C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\hdhomerun.xml]" that I selected in the Auto Map popup. Also when I reopen the Auto Map EPG, the EPG Source shows "None".

NextPVR web interface still shows "(no listings)" for ALL channels.

Attempting to play the test channel shows "No guide information available" as all of them do. The stations do play however.

BTW, please update your guide to indicate that FireFox is not supported. I wasted a lot of time trying to get any channel to play until I decided to try Chrome instead.

I went ahead and changed the EPG Source to the hdhomerun.xml path and file for one channel as well as remapping it as a test, but no luck. Is there a way to bulk update the EPG Source for All channels? I also ran the UpdateEPG.bat, but no change.

In Kodi, for the test channel and all other channels, the program name and program description do show for only about 2-1/2 hours into the future. Also how do I get the option to record popup to show in Kodi Live TV guide? How do I favorite channels?

BTW http://my.hdhomerun.com/discover does not show a place to view devices. Perhaps they changed the page.

You need to automap to None and then the xmltv in a second pass.. Ideally you choose xmltv first before scanning. Did you click the update epg button?

This is not a Kodi support forum but give it time and you will learn how to use it.

Firefox is still my browser of choice no updates necessary you must not know how to use video on a browser

I set the AutoMap to None.

Then on a 2nd pass to XMLTV [C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\hdhomerun.xml]. Now all channels show XMLTV as the EPG Source.

Then About->Update EPG. It's been saying "Running UpdateEPG.bat" for a while now, which is a lot longer than the few seconds it ran earlier on when I did it manually. How long should this run? Is there a progress meter somewhere?

No Change, NextPVR web interface shows "(no listings)" for ALL channels.

This is the only entry in log file.
{"stat":"Failed","code":8,"msg":"Invalid Session."}

EDIT:
I should add that the About->Update EPG was still saying "Running UpdateEPG.bat" this morning even after a reboot of PC. Then at some point it went away. Now the Devices screen shows "ReScan for Devices".

That message is unrelated to what I want to see but I would still like to see your zipped logs from the settings screen.

From there I see a lot more then what you posted. HDHRGuide last ran yesterday.

So based on that I suspect your UpdateEpg.bat must have an error or a pause. Maybe zip it up and let us check.

Oh crap, yes I had put a pause in the UpdateEpg.bat because I didn't realize the program would be auto running it. I like to see what happens when I run a bat file, so it's just a habit. I apologize for not thinking about that when I ran it within NextPVR.

I removed the Pause and ran it again.
EPG Update complete. [34540 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]

New logs attached.
