I just used PSEXEC, "To test if plink.exe works under the LocalSystem account without a full service deployment, use the Microsoft Sysinternals PsExec tool" and got the desired results.
I guess that means that's not my problem?

Thanx for all your input.
Hopefully sub will get a chance to respond to this.

First off, thanks for the time you spent helping me.
I think my problem is solved.

It looks like it was the "-batch" switch causing the problem.
I assume the batch file was hung waiting for a response.
Apparently I didn't have it placed properly the first time I tested it.

I also want to apologize to sub for suggesting this was a problem with NPVR.
Once again it was my lack of knowledge that created a problem.
