So i tried lower bit rates, lossless, cbr,vbr etc...I also moved it into the kitchen because its a little warmer in there not sure about 25c but it hasnt been that cold here lately anyway none helped still had same trouble. I was using happauge soft 2.4.23038 and once i upgraded to the new beta mediamvpsetup_24_23104_web.exe and copied dongle.bin over they all play.

I tried the new beta too without copy the dongle.bin, and it didnot work either.
What does the dongle.bin do?
ryanmc Wrote:rename your dongle.bin file in the gbpvr folder something like _dongle.bin and copy the one from hauppauge software to there and give it a shot.
Nope
Didn´t work.
Is there any benefits with the dongle.bin from Hauppage rather than the one in Gbpvr?
I have just done a clean install of XP SP2, v0.92.8, installed the latest BDA drivers only for my Nova-T USB2 (skipped WinTV completely), a suitable demo for the BDA Multiplexer and everything went swimmingly with perfect WMA files on my MVPs.
Great release, the lack of WMA support was my only concern and that has been resolved.
