No, it doesnt support the EPG that is transmitted with the broadcast.

We decided when I first implemented DVB support (a few months ago), that many parts of the world did not transmit enough EPG, or did not transmit enough show information, so we decided against implementing this. You need to get your EPG information from XMLTV.

Just noticed on my 0.92.08 version that a manual recording I setup kept being re-scheduled and causing conflicts. I don't see that this was addressed in this maintenance release. I know this was an issue a few versions back and it got resolved. The only thing that I did out of the normal was I tried giving it a different prefix. I'm just wanting to record the Into The West series that starts on TNT this week and goes for 6 weeks. The problem is it airs at the same time every Fri,Sat,Sun night so the only way that I could schedule it to just record once a week and not conflict with some of my other recordings was to do a manual recording with a frequency of every week. It would be kind of nice if there was one extra option when selecting a show to record for "Record Season - All showings on this channel, this timeslot, this day".

A note, the <ForceHighPriorityRecordingService> actually sets the priority level to "Above Normal" instead of "High", at least according to the Windows Task Manager. I realize that the task priority is actually a number and not a "level", but it's a lower priority than I'd set up with my hack.

However, I don't actually see anything wrong with this, it should work fine. If I do see any problems, I'll get back to the forum.

Yes, I think setting it to 'High' is evil, so I just set it to 'Above Normal'. You need it set to 'High', you'll have to come up with your own mechanism for doing it.

The MiniGuide now works for me, but it does not show the title of the show. It shows:

"Browsing Mini Guide"

"(Channel number) Channel name: Show description"

I do not think I have any problem with the data source. The show title is shown in the ordinary guide.

Well I agree setting it to Realtime would be Evil. Then it's competing with the OS and that's just plain wrong. I'm not sure what it's competing against at High.

I'll give it a rough test and get back with results.

User input drivers for one.... If your process set to HIGH requires enough CPU your mouse can become "difficult" to use...

Hi sub,

i think there is a bug in "show recordings grouped by show name".
If i disable it, the records are still grouped.
I don't like this feature.

Please help!

Thanks

Sub,

So far so good with the "above normal" setting. My daughter goes to a website that just pegs out my box in the afternoons and was causing a couple of recordings to be jumpy. So far I haven't noticed it now...
