You guys are too funny. I pictured Ron Popeil (a U.S. infomercial "inventor") pushing GB-PVR as the next toaster that can travel through time, lower your cholesterol*, and give you a mullet all at the same time... Big Grin

GB-PVR doesnt really do anything NTSC or PAL specific. This all happens behind the scenes in the device drivers. That said, much of this is driven by the country code, and I have added Brazil to the list of countries in this releases, so if it all works the way it is supposed to, then PAL-M should work in this release...

I don't know if what I heard was true or not, but apparently if you press the Red & Green buttons together, it automatically loads up Media Portal.

You forgot the part about the EPG data still being a royal pain in the ass to setup.

will there be feature add-ons or just fix it updates?

many of us nOObs would love it if some of those wonderful
add ons were pre-installed.

Like every other release in the past, it'll sport some new features and some bug fixes.

The installation will just contain the base GB-PVR software, if you want functionality offered in the plugins developed by others, then you'll have to download and install them separately. I'm not interested in pre-installing any of the plugins with the installation.

Just another quick update. I've the found source of long standing multi-tuner bug, so I'm trying to resolve this before a public release. The bug is not playing nicely, so I've been discussing with Hauppauge the last couple of days. Hopefully they'll have a resolution for me tomorrow morning, and then we can get back on track for getting the release out.
