Guide2J is great!, is there any chance it will work with a remote as opposed to the keyboard commands?
Possibly just my Cyberlink remote is not compatable.

It currently works with the mvp remote. I do not have a cyberlink. Perhaps if another developer tells me how to handle the events from that remote I will support it.

Most commands with the Cyberlink work with the gbpvr remote set for the MCE remote.

After further reading I realized that Guide2j is included in xrecord and called xguide.
I tested it in gbpvr9310 with the "Blue" skin and its rock solid. It even works with my Cyberlink remote (I can get the vertical displays by pressing the "stop" button.)

Xguide gets errors when I run it in Xmedia and Xmedia LE. Something about an object is referenced to something that is not an object (not the exact wording of the error.)

Working with the blue skin is all I need - so Thanks
btw this is NOT with the MVP, I havn't got the yet. It probably works fine with xmedia and the MVP

excellent. The errors with XMedia are do to the skin being updated and they need to be updated as well. Tipstir is on vacation, so when he comes back he will probably update them.

I just released xguide yesterday as part of the xrecord package.

Jorm, did you get the live TV hook for guide2J yet? I can't wait to replace the standard guide with this one, but I can't until a watch TV hook is supplied.

I do have a couple of ideas for all your plugins. Glad they are now all packaged together since I use all but the guide2j "waiting for watch live TV for this one".

XFind:
- I often use the * for wildcard. Would be great to be abler to press the * key on the remote instead of having to navigate the keyboard
- remove the keyboard from the bottom of the screen. Use the rteal estate for show description and info as well as channel info. Keyboard could be a pop-up when blue key is pressed. This way users could just navigate the episodes and see the description without opening the pop up just to see which episode they are looking at.
- Add a quick record similar to the standard guide. Just a bit faster then navigating through the schedule.
- I mentionend this before, but have a history of searches so the user does not have to type them in every time.
- remove number of tuners from the skin. I forget about this everytime I upgrade, I have 2.

Xrecord
- Not sure if this is implemeted, but with the standard recordins screen, if you select a conflicted recording, you have the option to directly cancel the other recordings in conflict without going to them individually.
- Also with conflicts, even after I resolve them, they still show up until the scheduler runs again. Now that there's a way to force the scheduler to run "for the CDK", either have a manual or automatic update to clear the conflicts as well.

XGuide "some of these may already be included, I don't use it much yet"
- ability to watch a recording in progress from the guide, rather then have to go xrecord to watch it.
- more of a question, I'd like to write a new view for the guide. When pressing stop, you can cycle thfough different views. Would it be possible someone to write a new view and have you add it, if you like it, without too much trouble. I guess what I'm asking is are the different views fairly modular in that new ones can be easily added?
