I know I get very anxious for a new release, although I'm 31, when a new release come out, I feel like an eight year kid again waiting to use my new toy.

you're right, everytime a new release is out, i have to upgrade and try it. and in the evening, when my wife in spe comes home, everything has to work again ;-)

sometimes i am busy with gbpvr when she comes, then she asks: "has there been a new release?"

ok, but now i have this little live-tv-error (i don't use the feature, but who knows, maybe i found a bug...): http://www.sitecomposer.de/logs.zip

when i try watching live-tv (i disabled teletext), nothing happens. the screen freezes. after a few minutes i press a key on the remote and i get an error message (something like "unknown function .... nativeutilities.settransparentosd()"). looks like something with the transparency doesn't work. i use overlay-mode and i know, transparency doesn't work here...

Seems to be a bug in 09310 release. When going from main menu to Live TV (preview mode) and returning with Back/Exit gives black screen and nothing else works any more, returning with Menu key is OK.

Strange, but this situation could be repeated on my system. As my GBPVR setup was continuous upgrade from 023xx to 090xx I decided to clean up it a little bit and installed recent as clean (uninstalled previous versions). My logs are attached.

hmm, unfortunately there is nothing obvious in those logs. What renderer are you using (Overlay/VMR7/VMR9)?

I've had this happen more than once with my MVP, but not from the PC. As I just got my MVP's this last weekend, I thought it was related to my setup being messed up and haven't investigated yet. I don't use the MVP's for watching live tv so it's not been a real priority.
