My problem wasn't exactly the same, i got an exception screen just upon the launch of GBPVR (or the recording service, can't tell now because it's automatically starting 2 MVP servers), giving a "File not found"-Error or something similar relating to AxInterop.WMPLib.
So i upgraded from WMP9 to WMP10, rebooted and THIS problem was solved.
But as you said, i also don't think WMP10 is available for Win2K.
And i think there are some more people using Win2K here, and they don't have that problem? :confused:
But anyway, i got some other issues that make me think about stepping back to 0.95.16.
