So i upgraded from WMP9 to WMP10, rebooted and THIS problem was solved.
But as you said, i also don't think WMP10 is available for Win2K.
And i think there are some more people using Win2K here, and they don't have that problem? :confused:

But anyway, i got some other issues that make me think about stepping back to 0.95.16. Sad

here exactly the same, but i already had WMP10 installed ... I`m doing now some
refreshing installations ... will report if it fixed it ...

Thanks for the upgrade! Had a couple of issues initially - it seemed to work but then gbpvr.exe crashed and wiped out my config!

Like the new Blue skin - very nice appearance.

The DVB EPG now doesn't crash Big Grin

Thanks for that. A couple of things though -

1) Multiple copies of some channels seem to be listed (e.g., BBC ONE, BBC ONE (1), etc.) - I can't work out a particular pattern for this but wasn't quite sure why it was happening (it did the same thing on the last version).

2) Only some LCNs seem to be obtained - some of the channels get allocated the correct number but others seem to just get random numbers. Aren't these just pulled from the Network Information Table?

3) Channels that aren't currently broadcasting still seem to be causing some problems - I've found that although they are now listed (which they weren't before), they don't seem to have any tuning info associated with them, therefore even if I select them to be included in the EPG they won't show up.

Thanks for any help - certainly a step forward for the DVB EPG to be working Big Grin

cant get this release working ... always the same, also after several updates and patches ...

I found the file 'AxInterop.WMPLib.dll' in the old gbpvr directory, but after
copying it back to the actual folder, it seems not to be the correct version.
gbpvr also didnt work with it ...

Update went fairly well, only issue was that the EPG was totally empty after upgrade (recordings were still around). Doing an EPG update didn't help. Eventually after a few EPG update, clean, EPG update cycles it magically worked, so I have full EPG again.

Fairly minor issues: VMR7 PiP is always in top left (same as post #230)

Also VMR9 non-custom has some very bad colour bleeding issues. I have not tried other decoders, but it's limited to non-custom VMR9 only. VMR7 and VMR9 custom work fine. Overlay causes GB-PVR to hang and consume lots of memory - this may not be a new issue - I haven't used overlay for a while.

Yes, this fixed for the next release.

I can explain this. It should be just the same as all previous releases, nothing really changed.

Just tried deleting the existing axinterop dll. On restarting GBPVR it installed newer version and is now working.

The LCN is not part of the DVB standard. In the UK and some parts of Scandinavia, it is sometimes available in private descriptor 0x83.

My guess is that not all your channels are broadcasting this logical channel number descriptor. Those that are get the correct channel number. The others just get the normal incrementing number treatment.

To be honest, I wouldnt be surprised. I wasnt expecting anything to change on that front in this release.
