I pulled these from the browser

I did tried and can successfully run these commands I found from a few pages earlier in our old testing

bash -c "/var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/opendct.sh 1110 \"DCT-Ceton InfiniTV PCIe (00-80-84-b9) Tuner 4\" 7822" | ffplay -i pipe:

bash -c "/var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/opendct.sh 1110 \"DCT-Ceton InfiniTV PCIe (00-80-84-b9) Tuner 4\" 7822" > somefile.ts

they work outside the second one needing to be placed in a directory with permissions. like  >  /recordings/somefile.ts

So the files work but when a channel is launched via browser there is no activity sent to opendct

The logs show it trying to play the other device

2023-04-01 17:30:12.664 [DEBUG][148] Running: bash -c "/var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/opendct.sh 1110 \"DCT-Ceton InfiniTV PCIe (00-80-0d-5a) Tuner 4\" 7825\"

It doesn't look like channel 1110 is mapped to the 00-80-84-b9 device at all.

correct. I have been testing both. but I used the commands from above. That card is not mapped at the moment but had the same issue when it was. I just got one tuner mapped in the system right now

It make more sense to test the command line that NextPVR is trying to play until 00-80-84-b9 is mapped to your channels

Regardless if you want to test NextPVR using 00-80-0d-5a you also need to do the command line test on 00-80-0d-5a on the same PC.

If 00-80-0d-5a is running from the command line with ffplay then it should work with NextPVR. On some occasions NextPVR needs to restart after adding a tuner. Restart and sent the logs again if it fails.

Not sure which opendct.py your using but if you have this one

xml.write(' <args>-c "/var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/opendct.sh {channel} \\"'+ device + '\\" ' + str(openport) + '\\"</args>\n')

edit it by changing the last '\\" to '\"

delete the tuners and do the python3 install again.
