There's no edit-button, so another reply from me:

in the main menu skin, there seems to be one special element missing:
Code:
Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]
I Think it's the element thatt describes if we have a horizonatal or vertical menu?

Hmmmn. I don't like this version. For the first time since I've been using GB-PVR an upgrade has caused me hassle. as I'm scrolling up and down the main menu I keep getting a popup box "The object is currently in use elsewhere"

I don't want to do it, but I guess it's going have to be an uninstall and rollback to the prior version.

Hi,

i got the same errors, but that was because i'm using my pvr350 tv card as hardware decoder, that didn't like the transitions.
Setting "AnimateTaskTransitions" to "false" in config.xml solved the problem.

I'm using a Hauppauge MediaMVP. Tried switching off AnimateTaskTransitions. Looked like it might have worked but I kept on thrashing it and eventually managed to crash it again with the same error message (actually, I didn't have to try too hard; just keep scrolling up and down the menu and sooner or later ... bang!)

btw You can't dismiss that "Object in use" dialogue box. I have to turn the MVP off (via the remote) wait two minutes then turn it back on.

sub - I hate to say it but I've been seeing this on the MVP for the past few days. I only ever see it in my Su Doku plugin though and that's undergoing some major coding changes at the moment. I assumed it was something I'd got wrong in my code which is why I didn't mention it.

Strange, I haven't had a problem and I probably should have. I still have the MVP setup to use BlueMCE2 rather than default Blue. BlueMCE2 refused to work correctly on the PC (because of the newly added functionality) but was fine on the MVP. Go figure...

alibert Wrote:Hi,

as I'm using different button sizes for "NormalButtonImage" and "PopupNormalButtonImage", I have now the following problem:

When hitting enter on a recording in the recordings screen, a popup opens with the detailed information on this recording. I think the composite image "DetailsPopupBackground" from the tv-guide skin is used for this. But the buttons which are used in this popup are the normal button images and not the popup button images, which breaks my layout...

You can still have different sized buttons on different screens if you need to. It'll first look for the button definition in the skin.xml, and if that is not found it'll look in the BaseElements.xml...so, just define them what ever size you want in skin.xml and it wont use the ones listed in BaseElements.xml

Yes, but only because you've made a mistake manually updating the settings in config.xml file. If we correct it, then all should be fine.

Can you email your config.xml, config.exe.log and gbpvr.exe.log to me at support@devnz.com?

This is normal. Everyone has been getting this message in their logs for over a year. Yes, if the setting is present, then its used to specify a different type of menu to use.
