Basic video buffering?

I'll look and see what codecs she has on it and the version of WMP (i'm thinking it was 9, but it might be 10).

If it were WMP9 that would be a big difference...I think everything here has 10 now.

Wife's machine had WMP 10 and the K-lite codec pack installed.

There goes that theory. If you're bored or so inclined, see if you can find a difference in settings.
