Hi,

thanks for adding the windows screensaver support! Couple of things though.

1. If I select the windows screensaver on first key press when its running it goes back to the default screensaver first and then requires another keypress to get back to the menu. Anyone else had this?

2. Does the now playing option still work? Can't get it to display anything use the default blue skin. (Can't get screensaver work at all under community skin but will post over on then thread!)

At the moment it kinda has 2 screensavers running, Windows and the GB-PVR one. For the next version perhaps I can get round this if it causes problems?

Just tried it here and it works fine. Can you post your logs?

I think you can just copy the files from C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Skin\Blue\ScreenSaverPlugin to C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Skin\Community3\ScreenSaverPlugin

I am Having problems.
When I try to start gbpvr on the popcorn it flashes up and then disappears. It was working great before.
This is the error I get In the logs

2 suggestions:
Restart pc.
Delete the file and reinstal.

If I'm on the guide (or recordings screen, etc.) and the plugin screen saver kicks in, and then I press a button, the screen saver goes away, but now I'm on the main menu screen, instead of the screen I was on. This behavior doesn't occur with the built-in screen saver.

Sub has put logic into the default screen saver to go back to the last screen, unfortunately this functionality is not currently available from a plugin.

Hi all,
has anyone successfully tested the photo slideshow with a large collection (say 2 gig+ of photos)?
I ran it OK in a small subfolder of around 20 photos. But when I tried to do a random slideshow with my whole collection, the screen saver never comes on plus I lose control of pvrx2 - no response from remote, mouse or keyboard (had to pkill the process).

I wouldn't be suprised if it didn't handle that many photos too gracefully. It was written a long time ago. I would suggest having a smaller folder of your fav photos and randomizing over that.

If you're a code the source can be made available. I have a bit too much on at the moment to look into myself.
