I am sorry i dont have it anymore i wrote over it during the restore process.... that doesnt really seem to be an issue anymore though your newest version seemed to fix that.

Does showburner respect the commercial markings from comskip files or just burn the mpg files to the DVD?

it converts the commercials found in comskip *.txt files to chapters on dvd...
so you have to skip manually but they are there..Smile

just hit 'skip to next chapter' on your dvd player's remote when a commercial comes on..Big Grin
cutting them would require re-encoding and lots of extra time..

just uploaded new version to wiki...
has path changes, remove all option, and i checked the use of gbpvrcli and it still works..Smile [just swap comments in batch]

Remember if updating, to remove the lines in config.xml before and delete showburner dir as well as burndvd.bat from gbpvr\third party\

My database has the extension .db3 so was pretty sure I was already using sqllite. If not, what do I need to do to upgrade?

run ChangeDatabase.exe from gbpvr dir...

just look for a gbpvr.db3 and if it's there already and of a decent size,[say over 1 meg.] then yuo're good to go already...don't run it..

also download the latest version of showburner, i changed some paths in there...but those lines shouldn't have been affected..

just remember if upgrading using installer,to remove the config lines, and burndvd.bat and showburner dir..
there should be a sqlite3.exe in your gbpvr dir also..

The newest installer by far works the best....to get mine to work though i had to go in and change the areas that call ffmpeg so that they showed the detailed location (i.e. C:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\third party\ffmpeg.exe...) I am not sure why this has to be done on my machine but if i do not do this the imgburn program will run and create a dvd with no information on it. However, once this is added the dvd burns correctly.

PBS, would there be any harm in making this change in the installer so that no one else will run into this problem or is this definitely an isolated incident?

OK, so taking out the profiles in config.xml, deleting burndvd.bat, and deleting the showburner folder and then running the installer again got it working.

I went to burn my first disk and the descriptions were there, so that looked great. However, when watching the DVD there are a lot of blockies (artifacts) and sometimes the sound will stutter. It isn't happening constantly, but frequently enough to make it hard to watch. It plays fine through GBPVR, just when I burn to DVD it does this. I am maybe thinking it has something to do with imgburn because I used Nero before and tried switching to imgburn previously (before the new installer) and noticed this as well back then so I went back to Nero.
