Both are available.

Once you have installed, go to //server/software and install the connector software on a client pc. You can then remotely administer from there.

The web interface is sweet too, as it allows you to RDP securely over https in addition to providing access to your shared files.

I obviously didnt read too closely... nevermind.

So far though i have GBPVR installed and Live TV works perfectly. The only problems ive encountered are:

1. no VMR9 support - dont know if anything can be done about this?
2. my USB-UIRT caused a BSOD at the first key press - reverted back to Direct to Haup (i cant even remember why i couldnt use the haup IR in the first place it was so long ago, i just stuck with the USB-UIRT!)
3. Cant log in as a user directly (as opposed to remotely) to use GBPVR, i have to log in as Administrator. Im behind a router, and should probably look at a 3rd party firewall too?

Other than that WHS is pretty sweet, backups are quick and very compact and the remote options are excellent.

I am sure that you could add additional users by going thru the admin console. I would try it myself, but I roached up my virtual install and am reinstalling it again.

I'm running beta 2 of WHS on my spare server at home, its a cut down version of Small Business Server (which I'm also running) and it's working fine, assuming you have only one server then installing WHS will be fine,

One word of warning ; be carefully if you have DHCP on a router as Windows DHCP services like to hunt down and kill other DHCP servers.

I've got GBPVR running on my server, I used nlite to inject the drivers I needed into the iso (Hauppauge/video/sound) and built the server using the new iso...

Working like a charm....

Windows Home Server works here like a charm! Nice and fast. I have an old nvidia agp-vga-card installed which is recognised without problems. Since I use gbpvr only via the media-mvp's the vga-card is not interesing. I can control the whs via remote-desktop. WHS has "normal" driveletters too! If you add harddrives which are not connected to the raid-system the get normal driveletters. WHS & GBPVR look like a good combination sofar...
Regards!

Ive hit one significant problem: No OSD!

Ive tried a number of decoders: Cyberlink, Gabest and mainconcept to no avail. Anyone know why this could be?

The thing i like most is that i can remote desktop to the server without affecting the output through the videocard... so i can tinker without stopping anyone using GBPVR.

zip and attach the logs and I'll see if there is any obvious reason in the logs.

Windows is returning that VMR9 is not supported.

Maybe need to install DirectX9, or switch to Overlay.
