Hoorah! Thanks sub, next beer is on me (provided that you make the trek to Austin, Texas which is probably not worth it for a beer).

I havnt done anything with DVB subtitles for quite a while. They're not used here in NZ, so its not something I think about often.

NZ's Freeview digital TV service is about to launch here in eight weeks, including DVB subtitles. I should be able to find some time to look at it after that.

Cheers.

I just wanted to post a quick note to set you guys at ease. The change of ownership of GB-PVR isnt something new. It actually happened well over a year and a half ago, around the time of the v0.90 or v0.91 release. There is no plans to change a formula that is working well.

This happened at a time when the time pressures of running this project, developing the software, supporting the software, spending time with the family and holding down a permanent day job were getting a bit too much. Something had to give - and luckily I was able to make 'holding down a day job' that thing.

The news item is intended to give Wellton Way some of the recognition they deserve for their part in the project.

To be honest I sort of had the feeling there must have been something behind You Sub for a long time. Just look at all the post asking what you do in many different ways.

Nevertheless its great if you get the ability to drive a cutting edge project and in the mean time find a main stream project that wants to nip from what you developped to drive their thing forward (correct me if I am wrong here SUB) and support you with your thing. Symbiosis has always been a nice thing.
