Really? I thought this was not possible (HA under EVR). Is there a hack that will work with other non-AGP cards as well for EVR?

You could try installing the directx10 patch that is what seems to enable the HA. Set the renderer to cyberlink powerdvd8 and enable dxva in the options.
I must repeat, I have not got this to work in gbpvr yet. just tvbviewer.
I am recording and playing in tvbviewer and I can also play back in powerdvd player. All other playbacks still stuffed.

Hi Coolvibe!
Have you had any luck getting your 2400 pro working with HA under pvrx2 yet?
I'm currently trying to get that to work now... (I have it working under DVBViewer - WinXP, Cyberlink PDVD8 with DXVA, overlay).
Have you noticed that HA appears to work under the gbpvr-config (when mapping the digital channels & previewing each channel)? There doesn't appear to be anything different in the filters being used between pvrx2 and the config though, strange...
Thanks,
Gene

Not got this going yet I got it working with power cinema by editing the tvsetting.ini file tucked away in the local settings for powercinema set enable_dxva_xp = True
This will also give you HA in powercinema.

Did you get TV3 HA to work correctly mine is still at 66% plus, which is to high I get bad lip sync and frames dropped.
I will check out the mapping perhaps sub may know.

I dont know about the 2400 Pro, but my ATI 2600 Pro works with HA in a Vista Machine with EVR renderer. Gives about 10% or CPU on TV3.

I am trying not to upgrade to vista. I have tried the latest drivers from sapphiretech for xp but they break the HA again. So I have rolled back the drivers.
If some one can say hey I have the 2400 hd pro agp working under vista I would be prepared to trial it. I dont want to end up with more issues.
I have lots of legacy stuff that may only work with xp.
And I dont want any DRM going on.

From what I've read on avsforum, the AGP versions have a lot more problems than the PCIe versions when it comes to getting hardware acceleration working, so this may be a factor in your case too.

Maybe save yourself your weekend and have a read up on avsforum first to see what the others are having to say about HA on AGP versions of the 2400 Pro.
