sub Wrote:The Cyberlink Audio Decoder supplied with PowerDVD 7.x and 8.x has been seriously knobbled by Cyberlink. It is only usable for simple stereo audio in third party applications. If you have PDVD 7 or 8 installed, you can get all your enabled audio features* in third party apps. There is a small issue with GBPVR though. The decoders save their settings on a "per executable" basis. So when you configure it in Config.exe, those settings don't get used for GBPVR.exe or PVRx2.exe. I documented how to fix that at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post271651 (see two posts below it as well).
*I say "enabled audio features" because the level of features available is dependent upon the level of PDVD that you have. If you only have the decoders, you probably have the most limited features. Since I have the Ultra versions, I have full 8 channel analog as well as SPDIF.
