I guess it might drop out while it was ffding, but it catches up as soon as I press play.

It really seems to work just as well as my dvr.

I don't argue that the specs don't warrant it, but it really works well for me.

Most of my isos are < 4GB (I cut out the menus and extras) and I only ffwd for a minute or two max, so I guess beyond that it might not work.

Can you run mvpmcx2 from telnet, capturing all the screen out with putty? If so I would like to see what is captured.

Actually could you try this alpha update of mvpmcx2 ? It might explain some problems people have been having too.

cool...call me a guinea pig...Smile
i've been having the hardest time with simple if/else clauses...if's work but else's don't..

and i found an easier way to pass params to scripts, use $QUERY_STRING and URL?xxx
had some fun discovering what browser stuff works or not too...[painfully slow tho]
i almost have a unified script with drop down for the telnet/gbpvr scripts..
[hard disk and usb mounts..shares are too different] with error and stdout and no wc need...
Big Grin
but alas still some work to do on it yet..but the concepts work fine..

thanks, will get to this later tonight..
i bet it's that HDCP?! messages i saw...eww...[it isn't supposed to work yet!]
i bet it works over hdmi...lol
[no hdcp possible on component]

You are not really a guinea pig, let's call this the first "private" release.

Let me know how $QUERY_STRING works. This is how I wanted to combine the CGI scripts but I had no luck.
when I first started.
