I originally installed lame acm by mistake.

Glad it's sorted. Yes - it's a pain that the acm is on the same page. I'll reword the wiki when I update it.

What is the time scale regarding a recording module ???

I'm really not sure - I kinda lost the plot with development a couple of months back.

I'm going to upload a bugfix version later tonight (don't worry about downloading if the current one is working for you). Once that's up, I hope to get proper development moving forward again.
