automatically burns, hmm. currently no, but ill look into it, perhaps jorm could do this in the xrecord plugin, might be easiest.

ill just post the demuxing program thingy here as an attachment. i just have to sort out a bug or two. stupid me forgot to check if the demux.queue file exists, currently if its not there, it crashes (only spent about well 1min writing it, so err). ill post it tomorrow. well today, its saturday 2am here, ill post it saturday afternoonish.

demux.zip (i had to upload it to the wiki, the community announcements board doesnt allow attachments).

i decided to do it now, it only took about ten mintues.

in this zip ive included a sample postprocessing.bat file and a sample postupdateepg.bat file, which will have to be modified to suit your system.  also a demux.ajb.start/end.file which you'll need for it to run (havent bother to check if these exist, ill do this later, if anyone asks) and it uses the same convert.bat file as the "my videos" plugin.
configuring
1. unzip everything into the gbpvr root directory.
2. edit the postupdateepg.bat/postprocessing.bat files.
3. err thats its, told you it was simple.

how it works:
demux.exe -a [demux queue file (plain text file)] [filetoadd, ie %1] << adds a file to the queue, dah.
demux.exe -d [demux queue file] [temp mpv file] [temp mpa file] [input file] [optional -HIDE] << demuxs the files, dah.

the optional -HIDE will hide the extra windows generated by each file as its being demuxed.

if you find any bugs, have any questions, just let me know.
enjoy.

Great plugin, the one part of GB-PVR that I was waiting for

Is there any chance of adding support for rejig (or similar) to shrink a mpeg to fit onto a single sided DVD, as some of the programmes I record are too long to fit?

you can shrink an mpeg by putting that into the convert.bat file. if you do that, remove the demux part since the reconversion should result in a mpeg2 that dvdauthor can handle.

Thanks Reven

At the end of stage 3, the batch file runs, DVDDecrypter burns the DVD and closes down
The iso file is deleted from the temp folder, and the batch files closes

But the dialog box saying Burning in progress never closes until I click on Cancel, is this by design?

the screen should be repainted, and in the repaint method it should have detected that the process was finished and remove the message box.

ill look into it later, theres so many processes going on with the dvd burning its hard to keep up. i mean hard for me, not for the computer [Image: tounge.gif], the code is kinda messy, im planning on cleaning it up later. just havent got around to it.

can you try and see if the screen is just not being repainted, try pressing any other button, other than ok, and see if the message box dissappears. that will at least narrow down the bug for me.

If I press the blue button after I notice the ISO file is deleted, then I go back to the main screen

Its only a minor point, I'm very greatful for being able to burn DVDs from the interface

anyone have an idea why on one of my dvd players i can't ff and rewind the dvds i make using this plugin? it works on one of my players but not the other. i'm guessing it's something in dvdauthor. is there an option i can change in conver.bat to fix this? when i use ulead to create the dvd it works fine on both players but i'd much rather burn through gbpvr, it makes life easier.

I just added the demux stuff to the Tips/MyVideoDemuxing section of the Wiki.
(I also moved the demux.zip)

reven, you are really adding great stuff to GB-PVR.
