I don't need the directory, save gbpvr.com some space. Telnet to your PCH and try and issue ether-wake with no options from the command prompt to ensure it works and then run useropt.sh too to see if there are errors.
I think I am getting somewhere, I changed my FTP client from CoffeeCup to Filezilla and think this is causing the problems, re copied over ethweake etc that now works.
will update you later
thanks

Ok nearly there WOL seems to be working now, think it would be good to put a pause in if possible before launching mvpmcx2 as I'm not sure the PC is booting before mvpmcx2 is called.
I think the main problem was the use of Filezilla instead of CoffeeCup which I had been using I have since read there are issues with the transfer using Filezilla. Also Brainstormers script now works after I have copied this back over except the the problem below which happens with this and the CSI installer.
The problem I have now is for some reason both live TV and the recordings wont play via PCH/mvpmcx2 just returning to the menu.
If I browse for the files through network browser then server etc I can play so the files are OK.
Once I have this issue sorted I will plan to rest my PCH and reinstall from scratch but I do think the CSI installer with WOL is the way to go. Would it be possible to include the useropt.sh script alone with ether-wake so that users only have to edit the MAC address if they wish to use, just thinking this may save so hassle.
thanks

This could be a mvpmcx2 / PCH2 mismatch. CSI installs PCH2 mode.

No I won't be doing this. Since you have to edit the file anyway the only hassle is copy ether-wake, which can also be solved partially installing the real busybox. It doesn't address all the other things that might go into useropt.sh
Try the Brainstormer clear cache trick, and if that doesn't work open another thread and post your logs. Remember too that if you one mode to start mvpmcx2 you have to power off to test another. They are not compatible.
