I'm available for beta testing on that front should any changes occur. With many PVRs from Cable/Sat providers offering watch in any room on almost any device, this would fit in nicely in the product.

i.e - buying one low end cable/sat receiver, hooking it up to the Server and control it from any computer in the house to watch live.

I'm new to this stuff, but am excited by what n-PVR promises --especially the prospect of getting started without an EPG.

But I can't get it to work... n-PVR recognizes my HDHR tuner(s), but when I do the setup and click scan, no channels ever show up in the window --even though on some channels during the scan I see "Quality = 100%". This is true for both tuners, one attached to cable (selecting QAM) and one to an antenna (selecting ATSC).

Other info: HDHR "QuickTV" app works fine. Running Win-XP-SP3. Comcast Seattle.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks sub. This release works great. The improvements on the MVP side together with mvallevands dongle makes the MVP performance same (or better) than with GBPVR. I also have better result using the wintv-ci module than i had with GBPVR. All in all a great release. If this is a beta, what will the final release be like

Just to let you know, this fixes the problems I had with LiveTV, however, a second simultaneous recording (on a different tuner) still causes a system crash. I built another Windows 7 system from scratch and did not install anything besides drivers, patches, Nprv, and Npvr prerequisites and it crashes on that system also.

- added a setting to force digital graphs to stay constructed, giving slightly quicker live tv / recording startup times, and to hopefully work around a problem with HDHR device.

Just to be clear - that change noted in the change log was the exact same patch you tried on the previous release. ie, it didnt fix your problem. I didnt spend the time to go back and remove that functionality, but its disabled by default.
