Sub, I've just done a seemless upgrade of my server and 4 clients to 1.5.36 and patches. I just wanted to say thank you for an amazing product. It may be 'beta' in your view, but I have paid good money for flakier and less functional stuff than this on many occasions. I didn't dare risk the upgrade before today for fear of divine retribution (I'm sure my wife said something about being divine!). Anyway, as of today my old gbpvr server is turned off and nPVR is doing the business very nicely.

Once again thank you - and I've scratched around in the bottom of my piggy bank to prove my gratitude.

Server: Ci5 2500k, 3GB, Windows Server 2012, nPVR 3.5.7. 2xWinTV-DVB-T USB, 1xWinTV-DVB-T PCI, 2 x BlackGold DVB-T, 1xPCTV290E and 1xPCTV460E on Astra 28.2 E.
clients: RPI2, Acer R3700, PCH-A110, NUC, 3xSamsung Smart TV

Thanks.

BTW, you'll probably want to apply this patch on your clients: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post398126

I already did thanks Sub. It fixed a stutter I had after skipping forward in an HD recording. That was actually the patch that convinced me to switch over completely.

Server: Ci5 2500k, 3GB, Windows Server 2012, nPVR 3.5.7. 2xWinTV-DVB-T USB, 1xWinTV-DVB-T PCI, 2 x BlackGold DVB-T, 1xPCTV290E and 1xPCTV460E on Astra 28.2 E.
clients: RPI2, Acer R3700, PCH-A110, NUC, 3xSamsung Smart TV

I see the 'current version' has changed on the main gbpvr webpage to this version of npvr. Does that mean npvr is out of beta with this version? I have been watching and presumed there would be a couple of release candidates first..?

Not officially, but only because I havnt got around to removing the word 'beta'. The reality is that the last couple of NPVR releases have been every bit as good as any previous GBPVR release, so doesnt really need the 'beta' tag more.

We do release candidates for every release, but they're only available to the private testing team. The public only see the final version of each release.
