Seems to me you should celebrate today since you were (I assume) born in New Zealand so it's your birthday today no matter where you are on the planet, but you should also celebrate tomorrow when it's your birthday by the calendar where you are, and you should of course celebrate when you get back home too just so all bases are covered.

My family used to have debates like this when we lived in Rome back in the mid 80's, just because it amused us, about when I woke up on June 25th in Rome whether it was actually my birthday yet if it was still June 24th where I was born...

As above from Mr Johnson, I hope you celebrate it today/yesterday (not sure where the timezones are or where you are!). But if you get a second chance celebrate it again!!. After all the Queen in GB gets 2 birthdays why can't you?
