Very sorry to hear things have been so rough. If prayers for a good outcome are any help, you have them.

Thank you so much Mr Johnson! Whatever religion, whatever we all do or believe in, I think prayers are wishes for a positive outcome. If I wasn't a man, and a half-geek, and was not the other side of the Atlantic I would give you a big hug. So you can have a virtual one any way. But there is no emoticon for that! So there you go, a hug from steeb Big Grin Wink

Bugger! very sorry to hear this steeb - please ignore my slightly earlier lighthearted comment in the birthday thread.

Late to the party, but congratulations Steeb.

A friend of mine's wife and their newborn daughter went through a similar ordeal after childbirth just three months ago. Major body chemistry changes during and after child birth can lead to some serious complications hours and days afterward. Hoping all turns out well my friend.

Thank you Fatman_do, so lovely to see your avatar on a post again. Always makes me chuckle. Unfortunately this wasn't a case for my wife of major changes but hospital negligence. And then they messed up again monitoring my daughter who had a problem that should have been checked every 3 hours and they left it for 11 1/2 hours with no checks Sad

Silly hospital people. They are being very accommodating now because I kicked up a storm and have instigated a formal complaint with legal proceedings. I just wish I did not have to this..... In this day and age things like this should not happen?

cheers

Thank you all for your support and best wishes. Mrs steeb and ickle steeb have finally made it out from the clutches of the NHS (that's the National Health Service that we have here in the UK, apparently often an envy of the world, although I am surprsied now that anyone could envy a service that tried to kill my wife 3 times and my new baby once!)

May be Daddy steeb may find some time soon to work on the wiki and the ACE (a GUI config.xml editor for NextPVR) soon. And I believe that the new NextPVR webpages should now be looking OK Wink

Thank you all

Glad to hear everything is ok! I was beginning to worry because you'd been absent for so long!
