Great point, I'll work that in.

Steeb & McBainUK - I hope I didn't step on your plans for Schedules Direct EPG writeup in my clear QAM walkthrough. I have put in links to the EPG/XMLTV/Schedules Direct pages.

Absolutely not from my perspective. Looks fantastic work to my eye Big Grin

But (why does there always have to be a but from me Wink )

The larger images from points 2 & 3 are quite a wide pixel size and on lower res screens will force a browser horizontal scroll bar, which does not always look so nice.

Great stuff mulletback Smile

cheers

And on reflection I should have been more helpful on this point.

The new NextPVR webpages were designed around a user running at minimum a screen res of 1024 x 768 pix.

I think we are trying to do the same with the wiki.

Bearing in mind that the wiki sidebar takes up something like 240 px a good max size for an image size wide should be around the 800 px mark.

I don't think we ever got as far as making a note about this....

Note to self, try harder steeb to make it easier for others to know what you are talking about Big Grin

I am not sure if this was ever written down, don't let my ramblings stop me from your glory of a great wiki page Wink

looks sweet and great work mulletback.

cheers

That's about what I thought would look OK - now that the lawn is mowed, I can trim up the images... Big Grin

...done... Cool

Mowing the lawn, ahhh, if only, every day I had the chance this summer in UK I got blown out by the bad weather Big Grin

I think it would be fair to say that the UK had relatively no summer.....

And look at my math:

steeb Wrote:Bearing in mind that the wiki sidebar takes up something like 240 px a good max size for an image size wide should be around the 800 px mark.

240 + 800 = 1040

Now I don't think that would fit a 1024 wide image Wink

Once again great and brilliant stuff, cheers mulletback

Yeah, they ended up more like 700 wide. Thanks for the input, me with the 1650x1080 monitor needs to remember the old days when we designed for the 800x600...

I use 'we' here as loads of discussion possibly off thread?! Yes 800 x 600 de facto some time ago, we decided to move it up one notch, you would be surprised how many people are still running 1024 as their base res Big Grin

As of this year, only about 14-20% of people browsing the Internet run 1024x768. 80-85% run a higher resolution, a minimum of 1280 wide.
