Don't get too excited, I'd forget about h264 transcoding in real-time with the specs that your machine has http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post428262

This and CM9 for my TouchPad. I'm in update heaven today!

Actually installed this late last night and everything is working great. Back to back analog recordings working, love the new "favorites" in TV Guide.

Thanks Sub!

Ouch! I have spent all day upgrading my machine, and migrating to the new version. If you wish to follow my older threads and make replies as such, maybe you should follow some of the newer ones and show me some respect!

Sorry, I didn't notice you upgraded the hardware. If you still have only an AMD 3500+ I still think it might struggle with 1080i

Thanx Martin...

I am pushing 720p through my plasma tv and with new hardware and setup the system is running smooth as silk. I have plug ins installed, and am very happy! Figure that npvr .ts is saving files in 1080i format, but not needing to address at this time.

Regarding the Roku (which seems to raise your eyebrows), I wonder if it would be best to use Ioanship's configuration via a post processing routine which could tax my system, or to figure a new way to run the .ts to .mp4 conversion process on an early morning routine when system and recordings are idle. Only options within npvr via a current batch file call is updateepg, which I do not think is a smart approach. I also would like to know where auxiliary programs can read the npvr database, and see what further processing/conversion needs to be done. Ionahip's conversion calls show a "%1". I do not know how this parameter is passed through, nor why?

Just trying to figure this all out in hoping that I can find a way to contribute...

Thanx again!

Grampz, you can use Windows Task Scheduler to run a program anytime you want it to. Fire up your conversion batch file at 4 AM and let it do it's thing. Smile

Great!

I missed this news until now. Will update ASAP!
There are quite a few important news on this list as well as that HTML interface (that I remember I asked for a number of months ago or so when I had thougts of doing an Android App). I'm not sure it follows the REST type of protocol that I wanted, but nevertheless - GREAT! Maybe it is time to start that app development now... Smile

Before you start building that app, you probably want to check this out first:http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ity.NDroid
And this: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...eb-Service

Yes, I am aware of those. The nDroid is probably the closest to what I had imagined. But I also had some plans that expand a bit on that. If the new HTML interface helps to achieve that remains to be seen. I will probably be used together with the existing Webservice too. I will look into it when I have more time...

would it not be feasible to work with Brian the Ndroid developer to see if your ideas can help improve ndroid?
