1. NextPVR installed on that machine
2. Is it installed in c:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) ?

couple more things to check

- does this directory exist C:\Users\Public\NextPVR ?

- does this file exist c:\Program Files (x86)\UltiDev\Web Server\UWS.RegApp.exe (should be installed by the installer)

- try running as administrator

if yes to both, can you attach a screen shot of error or better yet record the problem and upload it to youtube so i can see the issue?

Hi reven,

I try ro install the NextPVR web console and I have the same installation issue. During the installation I have error 1001 and the installer rollback.
I'm at the last version of NextPVR 2.5.9R2 and my OS is Windows 8-64 Pro French. I have NEWA 1.3.1 and TV listing 3.6.2 install also.

- The web server is install (50 items in Web Server directory)
- This directory exist C:\Users\Public\NextPVR
- This file exist c:\Program Files (x86)\UltiDev\Web Server\UWS.RegApp.exe
- I run the install as administrator
- NextPVR web console directory contain App_Aata (empty) + Bin(3 files .tmp)
