I tried Webgrabplus to see if it would scrape data from the RadioTimes webpages and got nothing.

Does anyone have webgrabplus working with Radio Times?

I believe if you use xmltvgui (Radio Times) the info has not been updated yet - just map to BBC 2 for now the programs are mostly the same.

[edit] I use xmltvgui. I deleted the channel BBC2, renamed BBC HD to BBC 2 HD and changed its EPG channel to BBC2.

This BBC blog from a BBC director states that (for those of us on the right side of the border....) BBC Two HD will be a simulcast of the standard definition version of BBC2 that is broadcast in England,
i.e. their EPGs are the same.

I guess you'd lose the "HD" tag doing that, but you'd still see the "Also in HD" one, so you'd be able to tell what was HD and what was just upscaled.

I must get around to getting 1 minute full ts recordings from one of these frequencies, so that I can add native support for these Freesat style Huffman encoded EPG.

Anyone want to supply a file?

Might be worth reading the DVBGuide doc first to confirm which channel(s) have all the data. There's a certain frequency that nets you the lot in 30 seconds, whereas if you use the other ones it will take minutes and minutes.

Yep, it'd be good to have the recording from that frequency. It'd be best to do a full transport stream recording. You can use tscapture to do this, from http://www.tscapture.com. It's free for 1 minute recordings.

Well the guide suggests using 506000 for Crystal Palace as this contains all the data but it takes 280 seconds

Transport Stream information...
TSID: 0x3006
ONID: 0x233A, UK Digital Terrestrial Television
Carrier: 506000 kHz
Bandwidth: 8 MHz
Modulation: 64-QAM, 8K
Guard interval: 1/32
Inner FEC: 3/4

Getting EPG records... 18852
Capture time: 280 seconds
EPG records: 18852
EPG start: 2013-03-30 00:00:00 UTC
EPG stop: 2013-04-07 23:00:00 UTC

Writing channel information file <ChannelInfo.xml>...

tscapture doesn't find any of the HD channels

[edit] removing country as well region fixes that. scanning..

Crystal Palace is a DVB-T transmitter for Freeview, not freesat. I'm trying to get my head around which transponder it uses but haven't sussed it out yet...
