Yes it was an old remux I had running on that particular show ... but is not needed anymore. The permissions were screwed up. Nobody had access to it ... except the creator. I fixed that problem so that will not happen again.

Great as long as it's not an NextPVR process that I need to worry about I am happy. I've also let UJB know and asked if he could trap the error in a future NEWA release.

Are you mounting your NAS location via ShareHelper?

What account is the NPVR Service running under on the server? Is it a system account or a local user with Admin rights?

Is this question meant for me? or someone else .... I do not record to a NAS. In my case it was just one folder that was supposed to be temporary created by a batch file I ran once. Permissions got screwed up and all is well now. Thank to Martins assistance.

It was meant for you... when you see file locations that start with \\ such as what was in your log (\\Nyplayer\npvrrecc\American Horror Story Freak Show\tmpEncode' ) you are acessing a resource via UNC rather than windows drive mapping (e:\yada-yada-yada\yada).

The error appears to have occurred in the part of the InfoXml.aspx processing that calculates disk space and for whatever reason that item was pulled in as a mapped resource.

I always record to UNC it makes it easier when accessing VIA XBMC, Roku and plex. That was just an abnormality when I was testing a batchfile and permissions. The folder had no access from anyone and X-NEWA would stop trying to read the contents of that folder and would not skip over it just failed. All my storage devices are located on my server. I have no need for ShareHelper because I record directly to unc also my livetv folder is unc.

Thanks for the help Chris. Logging in live found the problem, you used a directory character / in the filename used to store the channel icon which of course I don't have here. I just place it on the whurlston's site
