Multi-record on HDHR Prime

@pbs - if you've not already done it, install the patch in post #9 of this thread. I'm not saying it specifically fixes your problem, but it does have HDHR Multirecord changes so you should be testing with that installed.

yea, i got that one update...tray looks good...and recordings happen, but i'm afraid if i change the channel on livetv back after rec. changes channel, it might change the recording channel..
and to be clear, livetv is not on same frequency as recording, so it should kick me off w that msg...

hmmm,just thought of something, i modded the skin, will test with default skin...[i modded copy of new default skin for osd position only]
maybe i missed something..[like the tuner in use msg]

this time with default skin, just froze livetv, no msg...i stopped livetv fine after...
setup test at 3:25 and it bombed at 3:30 when "Highly Questionable" started...
hope that isn't too much logging..

oops, just checked default skin and it had my changes in it too...because i assumed re-installing with updated installer would overwrite the default skin, but looks like it didn't...probably because it was same version i installed over...[to get all the added patches]

unpacking the real default skin now and will post new logs after recordings finish in about 30 mins..

here's logs w guaranteed default skin....did same thing...froze livetv when 3rd recording started...i had to esc to get back to menu..

just found out a recording switched channels in the middle because another tuner was needed...it didn't stop the first recording first tho..
had a basketball game recording, then possibly within it's post padding time, another tuner was needed for recording so it appropriated the game's tuner, but failed to stop game recording....?

so something still really wrong with multi-record on primes..
i will setup more testing scenarios after my recordings finish tonite...
i tested earlier with livetv, but this is with just recordings..and is going to mess up some recordings..

Can you post a log showing the problem with just recording?

I understand what's happening with live tv not giving a nice warning message when it has to steal the tuner from live tv for a recording, but this is very specific scenario related to live tv.

here's logs with 3 recordings setup, one with 30mins padding, and another recording starting during that padding time..
[mostly at end of logs.. fast n furious changed channel on 'high tops' without stopping it to use tuner]
so "high tops" had it's channel changed at start of post padding, and comtinued to record, even tho its tuner was being used by new recording on diff freq.
let me know if you need something more specific.

to be clear, this is only recordings, no livetv watching..
setup recordings at 14:38 and at 15:00 things went wrong, tho i noticed it thought i was watching livetv but i wasn't..
"Scheduled recording is supposed to start on tuner currently being used for live tv."

I'm not sure I understand what actually went wrong. Was it just a case of not getting the padding, or something more serious?
