These are the settings that are working and the blank screen I'm talking about on launch.
I'm guessing you've set Settings->General "UI Mode" to "TV Viewer". Set it back to "PVR" and your menus should show up.

I just changed the resolution from auto to 1600x1200 and now have a menu as well!

FYI, I've made a slight tweak in the next build to make it more clear to the user if they've done this.

If you hadn't set to TV Viewer mode, and changing the UI Resolution was enough to fix it - what resolution were you running your desktop at. This may be a sign that your video chipset isn't modern, and can't create textures big enough for the UI.

I'd changed the TV viewer mode as well, I went to reply less than 30 seconds after my previous then got side tracked messing with the PC Big Grin.
