next pvr use the same rtsp code that i use in my Tools ( see attachment) and there can i watch hd sd Services you Need an installed LAV Directshow Filter package Windows Media Player and must modify the playlist.m3u with your Tuning params

Thanks for your utility. It works just fine on all channels including BBC HD.
Alas NextPVR still appears broken, it will not send HD channel tuning parameters to the TSS400

First of all thank you for your help and suggestion. Wireshark looks pretty complicated, can you offer any help as to how to capture the information needed?
One other idea, it would be interesting if you can use my NPVR DB file to see if channel 91 or 92 (BBC HD) passes data to your IP tuner. I can appreciate that you will not be able to receive the channels in Germany but it would be good to know if your tuner receives the commands. I have attached the DB file in case you have time to give it a try.

run Wireshark legacy type "rtsp" into the Filter field after this click on apply
to start the capture click on the sharkfin start npvr and tune the hd channel let two Minutes run and Close npvr in wireshark should you know see some rtsp Messages stop wireshark and you see an Dialog where ask what should happen with the data save as file

Here is the BBC HD capture attached that fails and sometimes crashes NPVR. I also have an SD capture of CH4 that works but the file is too large to upload at it presumably contains video data.

it Looks like that there no other pids as 0 or 18 are added 0 is the pat pmt 18 should be the eit what i know Sub had me ask for some time ago how he can tune a channel and he had it so solved tune with pat/pmt search there the Service id to get the other pids for Video Audio Teletext subtitle and so Long and send then a new Play request with this pids and there looks like is the Problem

According to the tuner interface, it is not only pid info that is missing. The interface does not show the Frequency, Polarisation, symbol rate or Modulation type!
Did you see any of this info in the stream data?

in your wireshark capture are the rtsp request ok the only thing is the pid problematic
but the rtp packets have only the rtp Header with out payload normaly is the size of one rtppacket 1328 but yours are 60 see picture and in the rtsp describe Response is locked = 0, Level=0 Quality=0 with other words there is nothing tuned fmtp:33 ver=1.0;src=1;tuner=1,0,0,0,10847.00,v,dvbs2,8psk,off,0.35,23000,23;pids=0,18 edit Sub i think i had it Setup send an param pilots= on in the satip spec is pilots plts=on |
