X-Newa vs NextPVR XBMC - Comskip with Black Bars

Switched back to using an IP Address.
Made a HomeGroup as detailed here (expand)
Played my file again in Kodi.

It seemed to jump to the show start, so possible small success; AND
The kodi.log doesn't have a "not found" (also good); BUT
There were no .edl references either.
I also can't see any bXXsYY when I press 'c" on the KB.

Past 1 am for the 5th night in a row, off to bed...

Aaaargh. True, sorry, just tired. I edited it in WinSCP. Probably needed to reboot it. Tonight.
Am I correct that I only need to set Windows Shares, not add any into Kodi?
Does the Pi or Kodi need to "Join" the Homegroup?

To load new advancedsettings.xml Kodi needs to be restarted. You don't need to add anything to Koi libraries if that is your question.

Yes, that was the question, sorry I wasn't sure what to call it, but if it is the Kodi Library http://kodi.wiki/view/Adding_video_sources then yes that is what I meant. That page refers to adding Shares as sources.

OK I believe it has loaded the correct advancedsettings.xml settings, based on logs.

The 404 is an unknown error sub returns from time to time. Perhaps there is a permssion settings on the edl file. How does it play on Kodi on the NextPVR box.

um, not sure what you mean here? I don't have Kodi installed on the Server (if that is what is meant by the NextPVR box?).
I can install it if you think it would help? In the meantime, I'm going to recheck my Shares...

I don't know what happened but I managed to reset all my NextPVR settings.
The backup config.xml was the same as the config.xml. Anyway back in action now. I made a batch file to back it up ... for future use.

Redid my shares .... same old, same old.
