Stuttering audio on some channels

As I asked, was the date/time on the nrecord.log after the time you rebooted? (or was no new nrecord.log created, and the one you've supplied from before your reboot)

The logs zip attached in post #18 is from after the reboot - the times are for after I THINK.

I will reboot again & post logs again, but this time I will take an exact note of the time I started reboot & I will post that time too! Give me a few minutes.

Are you to the North-West of the Sutton Coldfield transmitter by any chance? Could be that you are getting some sort of interference from Moel-Y-Parc at Rhyl which broadcasts S4C on 618166.

I am around 15 miles south of the Sutton Coldfield transmitter near to Acocks Green [actually Olton on the Warwick Road]
It's in a hollow here, but the aerial is high up & pointed almost due north to Sutton Coldfield
The Welsh S4C is perhaps from one of those relay transmitters scattered about all over the place?
[I remember the Welsh complaining about S4C being drowned out by the powerful SC transmitter]
What is the significance of the hieroglyphics? Which log is that so I can take a look?

I have installed the patch [first stopping service, closing program etc etc] thank you
I will test it in the next hour

I have also done a reboot again at 00:53:00 with the service started
The service isn't restarted after reboot

I applied the patch
Deleted all channels
Deleted EPG
Scanned for channels & 96 channels found which I reduced to 11 - this time the channel numbering is different with the radio stations being correctly numbered as 705 etc [unlike before]
I renamed the 11 channels to suit me
I copied those to the other tuner so the two tuners match

Then I ran the EPG download which worked, but once again NPVR froze at the end of the EPG download [LOGS BELOW]
I restarted the program & tried live streaming some channels
The radio channels are still stuttering
Pause & play fixes this

I don't understand your question. I had not lost any channels, but the channel numbering is different now - for example BBC1 was #63 & Radio 2 was #73 [see picture in post #3] before I installed that first patch you supplied, but the channels still worked [except for the stutter on radio]. Now BBC 1 is #1 & Radio 2 is #702 - these latter numberings are the same as on my old Freeview & my other TV set.

Is it a common problem?

The stutter happens using NextPVR only [without Kodi]

Sorry, I don't know. Maybe try setting the audio decoder you're not using to 'Disabled' - some audio devices misbehave with multiple audio audios being present.
