I can confirm that 4.2.2 is broken for Acamd decrypting, haven't got around to test anything yes since my testrig is down...

I think he means with that patch I posted above. Otherwise the MDAPI stuff hasn't changed in years.

Nevertheless is does not work, it does not even call Acamd in version 4.2.2.....

At this stage, I'm almost tempted to pull the plug in this MDAPI stuff, and just remove it from NextPVR, since I can no longer test it myself.

If you stop the recording service, and run "nrecord.exe RUN" from the command line, there is few extra messages that get sent to standard output (and don't show up in the logs), like "Loading plugins from …." etc when looking in the multidec plugin directory. Try capturing the output, and I'll check at what stage you're having issues.

You needed to stop the NextPVR Recording Service before capturing the output. This output basically says "the recording service tried to started, but it was already running".

Also, best to post any captured output as a text file, then attach the file. (since it'll be too long for a post after you try using a tuner)

Some good news, all my problems with skipping around in a recording and delayed playback, speed issues were related to LAV filters for HE-AAC sound. Changed to Microsoft and playback is perfect (that was why I was still using 3.9.2). Can use LAV for AC3 with no problems also.

This is the last working (for Acamd) file. If you could make changes to this version it might work.
