<rsp stat="fail">
<script/>
<script/>
<err code="8" msg="Invalid Session"/>

</rsp>

I've been using v4 on a local PC for a while.  Now moved my TV tuner to my Plex server and installed the latest version (5.0.9.201026) and thought I'd try viewing the feed remotely using the m3u url.

I get exactly the same error message as jad3675.  I've tried logging in via the web browser and then trying the URL but still have the same issue.

Sorry, that call is disabled at this stage due to issues it was causing. It may return at a later stage.

Is this the only way of streaming to a player such as VLC (or xTeVe)?  My goal was to send the tuner to Plex via xTeVe, is this the only way to achieve it?

Thanks.

You can still do it. Just make your own .m3u file, something like this

Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-chno="1",Your Channel Name
http://IP:PORT/live?channel=1

I use this to import channels into tvheadend

Thanks for the help.  So I can get VLC to play the stream using the url in the format above.  My question is, how would I create an m3u file with all the channels in to pass to Plex via xTeVe?  Similar to what http://127.0.0.1:8866/channels used to produce?

Just make a file called mychannels.m3u then add all the channels you want just like above

Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-chno="1",Your Channel Name
http://IP:PORT/live?channel=1
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-chno="2",Your Channel Name 2
http://IP:PORT/live?channel=2

Just adding all the channels you want, the channel=2 bit will be what ever you numbered it then just add that m3u to xTeVe https://github.com/xteve-project/xTeVe-D...u-playlist
