Thanks, Martin. No error this time but there's still a problem somewhere:

C:\Program Files\NextPVR>dotnet "c:\program files\nextpvr\nscripthelper.dll" -pin:81476301 -server:192.168.1.154:8867 -status
[1] Unable to login

The pin is correct since I use it all the time to schedule new programs with the URL API. Pin 0000 doesn't work either.

Logs attached and shows transaction beginning at 2021-02-24 10:56:10.674

The md5 that is calculated seems correct for that pin and the salt although it is upper case if that makes any difference.

I only supply the pin so I'm not sure what I can do about the salt.

I did get the code to work if I disable "allow remote access" and change the pin to 0000. OK for now but I would like a more secure pin code.

Thanks for the help.

Here it is 12/24/21 and I am trying to use NScriptHelper.exe.
I have been trying to use it in a Python 3 script with the result = subprocess.run(in_cmd, check=True) and was getting strange result. Specifically when trying to do any functions relative to a specific .ts file (created by NextPVR Version: 5.2.3.211114) it always says it ran successfully (even if I passed a non-existent filename to it).
So decided to run it from the command prompt (Win 10) to see what I get.
Same thing. No results at all comes back to the console. But no error either, so it appears it ran successfully.
I ran it with the -Pending, -IsRecording, -Staus, and IsInUse and it always runs successfully and gives me the expected output on the console.
Could someone try to run it and see if they get similar results. I specifically was trying to get -Title or -SubTitle.
I'd appreciate it. For what it is worth, the version that came with version 4 NextPvr works just fine.

According to the wiki those aren't supported functions in V5.

Well, that is what I get for not checking the Wiki. They worked under 4, so I just assumed they would continue to work with 5.
Thanks for letting me know.
I will find a "work around", I always seem to be able to.
