Did you manually install 1.16 under dependencies?

I pressed dependencies in Nextpvr addon configuration and it only showed up 1.15.0 and I installed that.

But now I think GPU is working so transcoding should be working...

That looks ok but you might need to go to the addon to see the version.

The O key should tell you the new transcoded resolution.

Indeed, inside the addon it shows 1.16.0...(strange)

Below is what shows when I press "O" so I think it is using the D3D11VA transcoder succesfully...

We bother transcoding if you use 1080p? I mentioned the version question to the skin guy and they are thinking if it could be clearer. pvr.nextpvr sets the optional requirement >= 1.15

Or do I have to restart nextpvr to take effect after changing the transcoding option in settings?

That's the same isn't it, that is why I wonder if you turned transcoding back on.

Interesting....

I unchecked the "Avoid transcoding wherever possible" checkbox, and restarted nextpvr...

I got exactly the same....

Note that I prefer transcoding for two reasons:

1) not use CPU as I using for other purposes and 2) be able to lower the resolution when I'm streaming over the internet...
