You're right, I didn't, I installed both and thought it would work somehow. I guess I should uninstall and just select 32bit is that right ?

There is nothing wrong with having the 64 bit installed but you can do what you'd like.

Will having both sets of drivers installed stop NextPvr from working ?

No, I wouldn't have suggested it if it would.

What should I have the video rendering on in the top drop down menu ?
VMR9 VMR7 etc. I've tried all of them and still no picture.

Huh Huh Sad Sad
If you've got empty live tv buffer files, then it's not receiving anything from the tuner, and regardless of what decoders you select, you wont get video.

You may need to copy a live tv buffer file, or view it's properties to see it's true size.

I'd suggest trying to do a recording from the TV Guide, then have a look if a file gets created. What happens when you play that recording in NextPVR, or another player?

Live TV is much more complicated scenario, with more stuff that could be going wrong, so looking at recordings helps us understand where the problem is.

I can't record that doesn't work. I did manage to get the TV card to work briefly but the sound didnt' work. I'm beginging to think the TV card's hardware has stopped working. How would I test this ?

If there is picture (with good quality) and no sound that is another issue. It is sounding more like an antenna or signal issue then tuner issue.

OK Thanks I'll try pluging in a standard TV into the aerial socket.
