I just looked at my /opt directory and it doesn't have a folder named NPVR. I didn't use the deb helper file to install npvr. I just extracted the npvr zip file into a folder named NPVR in my user home directory.

The folder should be /opt/nextpvr/system if you used the deb installer.

Installing manually doesn't make sense to me especially if you want a service but when I write about the system folder substitute your folder

Now I have the proper folders in /opt. But I'm still getting the same error when installing the TabloTV.dll cd /opt/nextpvr/system (I see the TabloTV files I placed in there) sudo /opt/dotnet/dotnet TabloTV.dll install installation still fails, unhandled exception, it can't find the Newtonsoft.Json file and then it aborts. My system seems to be working good, no other issues. I don't have any permissions problems that I am aware of.

Can you confirm you are using 3.0.0 from the first post. If it fails I will try on an RPi5 here.

Thank you Martin, my version installed is TabloTV-3.0.1.zip. I ran the update function at the time of install.
(Additional info in case you need to know- the deb helper skipped over dotnet during install because it noticed I had 8.0 dotnet already installed)

Where did you find 3.0.1? I want to make sure I install the same version.

Replace TabloTV.deps.json with the file in this zip and see how it goes.
