Great thanks, it was pretty easy actually. There is no need to install sqlite3 and you should really use the symbolic link to the platform libe_sqlite3.so , which is not necessarily in linux-x64.

Just as a side-note...Will this also feed into the duplicate episode detection? i.e. imported episodes will not record?

There is no API for generating a unique ID so this is typically only able from recording source that provide a Gracenote ID. How TVHeadend and NextPVR generate this from OTA can vary anyway so it wouldn't be that dependable.
