Here is the database file with my added recordings, as requested.

Ok great. The idea works pretty well, it was able to avoid 52 recordings from the 350 that you imported. Since v6 is a few weeks away if you want to send me your current database during one of the windows were nothing is recording and I can quickly update it and send it back. Then you can update the EPG and see how it goes. We can do this again in a few weeks if needed.

Very Cool. Thanks very much for the support. The next time slot available is between 12am and 7am tomorrow (21-06-2022). Does that suite? If not then I will need to check after.

If you are up at midnight that is fine since I am 5 hours earlier.

You can also miss a recording and just import it with NextTool.

Here is the update (without the EPG) so backup your (I guess the one you send me is a backup) and then update the EPG.  There are a few less this time around.  Don't worry about future ones that eventually show up, if it becomes annoying it isn't hard to to do this.

That's excellent. I just noticed that quite a few duplicate recordings are no longer in the scheduled list. I will keep an eye on it and come back to you if required if that's OK?

Otherwise, it's looking positive. Great work.

Thanks

There were 49 recordings that I added the unique ID that should now be skipped. Feel free to come back with questions you are beta testing the logic.

Just a quick update and some last questions. The duplicated recordings are now working as expected. I don't see any scheduled recordings that I already have in the next 7 days at least. Finger crossed.

For the recordings directory, I currently only have one (/recordings/tv). If I added a new recordings directory (say /recordings/archive) which has some existing recordings (which I would import), would the new logic you have just implemented still work (eg scan both locations for an existing recording)?. As I understand it, the new recordings would still be (by default) to the /recordings/tv directory, unless selected at schedule time. What about existing schedules, would they still use the default path (/recordings/tv)

Thanks
