Sub does provide me with occasional test versions but no solution yet. The most recent release from Sunday will lock a tuner so you don't want to get this to early.

Closed captioning would be unrelated and needs a different thread with logs etc. We don't event know which client you are talking about.

For the closed captioning issue, I'm using a browser (Firefox, Edge, Chrome) connected to the NextPVR portal, watching live TV. I thought maybe it could be related to how EPG is also decoded and could help in the debugging process. If it is not related to the EPG issue, then forget about it.

Any closed captioning issue in the web app will be unrelated to EPG issue.

On a positive note and more on topic a potential fix for OTA ATSC EPG scanning will be in the next release coming fairly soon.

Hello, is the new release available? NextPVR Settings page displays: "Version: 7.0.1.241229 (7.0.2.250621 is available for download)"

When I download and run the NPVRSetup.exe, it says it successfully installed but the app still shows that I have the older version. The NextPVR program files directory still contains all files from 2024.

Please advise.

The most common issue updating is there is a file NPVR.zip in the same folder as the installer that needs to be delete. Otherwise try a Ctrl-F5 to refresh your browser after the install.

Wow, I would have never figured that out. There was a NPVR.zip file in the same directory as the setup exe.
The update was successful and the guide is now up-to-date.

It seems there is a new issue that occurs when a recording is started for a show at 11:35 PM.  The Recent Recordings show that the recording fails with message: "Failed: The operation has timed out."  A subsequent recording that begins for a program at 12:05 AM succeeds.  However, Guide updates after this seem to fail, and one tuner is stuck in a recording state.  Restarting the NPVR service does not correct the Guide issue, however restarting the computer seems to resolve it.  This issue occurred 2 consecutive days/nights so far, beginning with the 11:35 PM recording.

There are 2 tuners in this system.  Attached are the log files.  NPVR is at version 7.0.2.250621.
