It was basically this that you solved me, then with the help of AI I created these files for the update every three hours of the HDHOMERUN.XML file
Do not copy the files to the .NPVR-Data folder because being hidden, the HDHOMERUN.XML file will not be updated (see epg_update.log).

com.davideverga.update_epg.plist  saved in the folder root LaunchDaemons
Update_EPG_wrapper.sh - Update_EPG.sh - saved in the folder NPVR > EPG (to be created)

The HDHOMERUN.XML file is where EPG Guide will be generated
The EPG_update.log log file can be found in TMP folder and can be consulted via the command: cat /tmp/epg_update.log
