No problem. If you want I can post the latest source and you can take a look at the guide logic. If you write your own I will gladly assist you in adding them to the plugin.

I will start looking at your other requests. We really need a bugzilla system to keep track of these things. Smile

Jorm, you might consider using Sourceforge for managing some of the projects. At least that way you get Bugzilla with it, plus you have a revision history.

Just a thought.

After further reading I realized that Guide2j is included in xrecord and called xguide.
I tested it in gbpvr9310 with the "Blue" skin and its rock solid. It even works with my Cyberlink remote (I can get the vertical displays by pressing the "stop" button.)

Xguide gets errors when I run it in Xmedia and Xmedia LE. Something about an object is referenced to something that is not an object (not the exact wording of the error.)

Working with the blue skin is all I need - so Thanks
btw this is NOT with the MVP, I havn't got the yet. It probably works fine with xmedia and the MVP

Actually make that rock solid until I started playing with the filters. Big Grin - that might have been where I got errors in xmedia too, not sure

If I keep the installed filter "Test Guide" and add all channels to it everything it great.
If I make a filter that doesn't have "all" or "most" channels in it I get the object error when I do a mild "stress test" (switching views etc.).

doesnt matter, I'm going to use it with no filters.

One question (not a request) when I select Xrecord from the menu I get the list view instead of the pictures, I can bring up the pictures by pressing "pause" on my Cyberlink remote.
I have been looking through the "\gbpvr\skin\Blue\xrecord\skin.xml" to find a way to make the default setting the picture view.
Is that where I would find the setting?

Hi,

Just a silly question.... is their a reason why I have two columns showing the tv channel compared to the one of the standard guide as I can't seem to find a function for the second column.

I think its so you can download all the channel logos which when configured will show up on the right column and then you can still see the actual channel number and call letters on the left column.

tevbill is correct. You can disable that in the skin.
