sub Wrote:Only with the old GBPVR.exe interface though, the same as the PVR350 tv out.

Unfortunately the days are numbers for both of these. The old GBPVR.exe interface will no longer be updated, and will only distributed with the release for a couple more months. After that everyone will be required to use the new PVRX2 interface or stick with an old release. (keeping it around causes headaches because it means I cant do updates to the DLLs shared between GBPVR.exe and PVRX2.exe)

Oh dear! I simply haven't had time to spend working out why PVRX2 isn't working correctly. Please don't abandon the old interface - it's actually working fine....

I'm not going to remove it just yet, but it will go eventually. Sorry.

As I mentioned above, keeping the old GBPVR.exe around causes headaches because it means I cant do updates to the DLLs shared between GBPVR.exe and PVRX2.exe, or I have to do double maintenance + double testing.

does this mean you will rename the product to PVRX2 or is this just a name while checking the new Beta interface- and then revert back to GBPRV.EXE?

If anything, I may rename PVRX2.exe to GBPVR.exe, but I dont know if I'll bother though.

Regardless, you're still downloading and installing an application called "GB-PVR", it doesnt really matter what the .DLLs and .EXEs are called.

1.08 is working fine for me, but I noticed that HDHomeRun was still not in the BDA.ini file. Maybe that is because you have to input the serial number, but perhaps you could automate this process. I expect there are (or will be) enough HDHR users to make this worthwhile.

Correct. The HDHomeRun is a pain in the butt because it uses a different naming scheme to every other device, with the filter name being different on every machine.

HDHomeRun owners will need to remember to update their bda.ini file with every release.

Its a low priority for me, since I dont like having to do custom stuff like this for just one capture deivce, but hopefully one day I'll implement something to automate things.

OK, it is no problem for me. But for new users, the info on setting up the HDHR is still somewhat scattered all over the place. It is not that difficult at all, probably easier than having to fuss with drivers for a PCI card. But if you could gather the latest info into a Best Practices section, I think it would help.

I could just be missing the setting but I can not seem to be able to set GBPVR to display on my second screen. This worked fine before I upgraded, but I can not find the option in the settings.

Other than that It is great!
Thanks for all the work
