It's a slightly different rating scale but I needed to know how MCE was reporting it. But the debug you posted only showed US ratings.

And really, that's sounds about right. Microsoft Canada has MCE pull listings with American ratings.... yeah that sounds about right...

Yes I did notice and cought it just as I went to the wiki to dl the new version, which of course works flawlessly! I can't imagine anyone complaining about this setup....well, yes I can, there are always people out there to find something to complain about...let's see what other features would I like...my lawn is getting pretty long....

This is how I got it working....

This batch file is called after all the rest of the conversion is complete...

Note the %1. That's so I could pass the HeadEnd.xml....

At the end the final file will still be the Headend.xml...

Not a problem Jim. I don't think that the Language is included in the Y! data but I will double check it. I guess I could always add the lang="en" if they don't and just let everyone know that it was for compatibility and not necessarily accurate.

I'd hate to see you do something like that to your util, and it isn’t necessary. I have the Y! version tested and ready to go using the existing output.
Two different versions of I-xmltv would probably be easiest anyway, because I could include the proper UpdateEPG for the grabber used. Fewer setup problems that way!

The code you posted does inform me of another issue though. With the MCE data, Canadian programs may not have the last 4 digits of the ID. I had to modify my code to compensate for that. I'll adjust it to append the episode number, or if that's not available, append 4 zeros.
